General Appearance: At about 6ft tall, 'Trial' as he is commonly known is no exceptional figure. Handsome but scruffy, well-built but certainly not ripped. The appealing features of his physique and his general appearance are often detracted from when it comes down to his scars, with the most notable being self-inflicted whiplashes over his back, bites from a blood-sucker on the slope of his right shoulder and worn on his right upper thigh, is a metal cilice. His hair is shoulder-length, but often if actively working, tied back and he usually has two to three day stubble - going clean-shaven honestly does not suit him in the slightest. His clothing varies but usually consists of linen breeches, leather boots, a gambeson and long-sleeved, floor-length overcoat with dulled purple braid. If travelling or aware of trouble, in addition to this is a maille coat and one-handed axe -- he has his sword with him at all times where possible.
Personality: Intuitive, imaginative and shrewd; thick-skinned, outwardly unemotional and unyielding, an incorrigible narrow-minded, xenophobic individual full to brim with suspicion and coldness, a convincing romanticizer and cunning tricker. Yet underneath the dogmatism and religious subservience, lays a heart of creativity, literary talent, oratory skill and protectiveness. He's a conflicting mess of religious ideals, self-loathing and on the other side of the coin, bravery and a strong sense of justice.

Trial arched an eyebrow up at that claim, and looked at the Spaniard a moment longer before looking at the table, then back again when the mention of semen getting on it came up. But, truth be done and dusted, he did not bother moving off it or pretending to be alarmingly shocked. The man had probably fucked a whore over the table, that was all. No thoughts that the stranger might be more inclined to favour the other team even entered his mind. Crude as he was, there were some subject areas that his mind did not broach onto easily and that was one of them. "I have no need to relax, when I was not even worried." The man had hardly come in, sword drawn and looking for a fight and so, he saw no reason to retaliate over mere words. For now, that is. While slighter than the other man so far as build and height went, he had enough military experience under his belt amongst other things to hold his own at least for a time. He had no need or reason to let those skills go slack either; sword drill at dawn, for starters, would be implemented the moment he was more settled. He met the other's eyes blandly, then rolled his shoulders in a shrug and took a sip of his own wine. "Depends what you have to offer so far as things go." He looked tired and rumpled, judging by the wayward state of his hair, creases on his clothes and dark circles under his eyes. He nodded curtly when the introduction came. "Trial is how I have been known for the past few decades, that will suffice." Fitting; he had been a trial for the holy to endure, a trial against the wicked and mortal heathens and a trial for those he had scantly tried to befriend. Then he paused, and his lips tightened before he answered again. "Fine, my name is Tielo. I prefer the former however, naturally."

* Note: Trial is a Nephilim - going by the Genesis 6:4 definition, he's the son of a fallen angel and a mortal woman. He can make his wings appear, but he is too weak to get them to physically manifest -- this ability is well within his control, and is not done 'for the fun of it'. To give a comparison, he has only done it four times in his one-hundred and sixty-seven years of existence. To the average mortal, he's just a human man who perhaps feels a bit 'off' or 'wrong'. In Churches or holy ground, he can enter as he has faith, but being inside a Church itself will slowly give him a headache that escalates into a migraine depending on how long he is in the vicinity. He can get injured, his healing rates are normal and he can die of severe injuries even if his lifetime is extended.
