Mereavus Vorserkeine

- Verbally thrashed Aliamine for escaping the castle, as promised.

- Found out about the Crann moving threateningly towards William Alexston and Aliamine's flight to his encampment.

- Followed a note from the General stating that Aliamine had gone to Witchmeadow. She arrived and had the girl dragged back to the castle and ordered twenty lashes on William.

- Discussed the situation with Aliamine and mentioned that she ought to find a husband. Aliamine told her of William and their affair and Mereavus decided to marry them 'as a symbol of unification between pleb and Royal'.

- Met Caterina and introduced her to Aliamine.

- Received a threatening note from a churchman stating that if she didn't allow the Queen to be exorcised, she would be outed as a Sapphist and burned. She consulted Aliamine and Caterina about it, and asked them to cover for her that evening.

- Called Cardinal Barric to her room and put him in the 'magic chair' to seduce him. >.> (Dice roll states she's pregnant from this coupling).

- Left to retrieve the incriminating document from the churchman and drowned him in his bathtub once she'd attained them.

- Returned to the Castle, where Caterina and Aliamine were pleased to see her alive. She told them all had gone well. Aliamine ruined her mood by asking who Violet was, and told her that the Cinn had mentioned her. Mereavus began to be suspicious of the Cinn's identity.

- Called Barric to her chambers to 'stop her thinking'. Aliamine walked in at an awkward moment.

- Spoke with Aliamine, who apologised for both walking in and ruining her mood. They discussed Violet and Aliamine assured her that the Cinn wasn't Carrigan.

- Met with Caterina to discuss what had happened. They got a little friendly. :X

- Left to visit Barric at his home at Sterrington. Stayed two nights, surveying the Duchy in between.

- Realised she was pregnant and took Barric to the countryside to tell him. They have agreed to marry soon.

- Spoke with Aliamine on the balcony regarding problems with William and her own impending nuptials.

- Mereavus and Barric marry.

- Mereavus is visited by Aliamine, with Carrigan in tow. She isn't particularly pleased to see her daughter, but recognises that she owes her a great deal. She hears about Aliamine's pregnancy, which pleases her.

- She begins to set up the votes for the elections of the new Pontufex.

- She is present when Aliamine tells her father about her pregnancy. The King speaks on the subject of his love for the Queen, which brings up bad memories for her. She leaves the conversation before it's over.

- Mereavus visits the King in his chambers after dark. They reach a mutual agreement on missing 'the old days' and spend the night, platonically, in the King's bed.

- She holds interviews for a new handmaiden. Osanna claims the spot.

- Barric visits her in her chambers, and she nearly knifes him in the face, thinking he's an assassin. They have dinner and talk, though Mereavus remains distant.

- She retires to her bedrest properly.

- Mereavus is visited by Sebastian Harlock, who tells her of the King's imprisonment of Aliamine. She reacts surprisingly calmly, and asks that he send for Barric. She signs a pardon preventing repercussions for Harlock and the guards, and then discusses with Barric what her intentions are. He sadly agrees to them, and they have 'a last goodbye'.
