Carrigan Vorserkeine

- Told Dullahan of what she could see and hear from the Crann. He insisted she live with him. She did so, and began setting up her status as housewife without benefits.

- Met Nissa after some time at Dullahan's house, and Carrigan now asserts that the wench owes her an eye.

- Left to visit Aliamine, who she showed a memory of Mereavus raping Violet. Aliamine slashed her across the chest with a knife and called for the guards. Carrigan jumped from the window and made her way to the marshes in the form of a gnat, where she dragged herself home. She is currently recuperating under Osanna's watchful eyes.

[Updates from the Relaunch]

- Carrigan is captured by the King in the marshes after he used a small boy as bait. She killed the boy, and he riddled her with drugged darts and locked her in the Tower.

- After some time in the Tower, she is rescued by Osanna and taken to the sewers to recover with the Cinn residing in the city.

- She returns to the marshes, and Dullahan. Dullahan believes she voluntarily left them, and more to the point, him. She tells him what has happened, and that she will be departing to live with those in the City. She convinces him that they can do more good there, and the pair of them leave.

- Dullahan and Carrigan settle into their new chambers. Carrigan begins to plot properly, and tells him to acquaint himself with those they now lead.

- She visits the King during the night. He is shocked to see her, and tells her that her 'ammends' are better made in a nunnery, far away. She tells him that she's staying, and the two part on bad terms.

- Carrigan makes her reappearance in the city and encounters Aliamine, who seems willing to forgive her for her past conduct. They go to the Cinnradel Academy, where the marsh spirit Carradine resides with the dead Tree of the Mother. Carrigan recognises that Aliamine has the seed for the new Tree in her ring, and destroys Carradine at great personal cost when she threatens to hurt Dullahan.

- Aliamine and Carrigan part ways. Carrigan appears at Sterrington, where Barric nurses her back to some semblance of health. After hiding there overnight, she returns to the sewers with an injured shoulder and lingering magical pains.

- Carrigan tells Dullahan the limited version of what had happened. He is shocked, but believes her.

- Carrigan awakes in the night and studies Dullahan's face. They make love for the first time - violently. Their dynamic is never quite the same again. [Dice rolled, not pregnant]

- Carrigan sucks up her courage and tells Mereavus, with Aliamine, that she's back. The encounter is tense, but peaceful.

- Carrigan sends Osanna to apply to be Mereavus' handmaiden, with instructions for what to do.

- She tells Dullahan to prepare to infiltrate the castle himself, and then encounters Novel in the castle. She asks her to teach her how to read, and in their educating session, it becomes apparent that Carrigan can only read the Old Tongues. Novel is disturbed, but carries on regardless. Carrigan promises her a horse.

- Carrigan encounters Sebastian in the tavern. Godaivah makes it obvious that she's seen her around the sewer entrance, but Carrigan says nothing about it. She focuses on Sebastian, and a tense interaction ensues.

- Godaivah catches Carrigan outside at night, and starts probing for information on 'what Carrigan might be looking for down there'. After a moment of Carrigan being calm but nonetheless threatening, she tells her that if she really wants to know the truth, she'll tell her - at a price.

- Carrigan takes Godaivah to the sewers and shows her the Cinn centre. Godaivah talks to her about the Meloni, and how they've been looking for this for years. The pair strike a tentative alliance.

- Carrigan agrees to look at the Queen's tonic, and returns to tell Aliamine that she's tested it, and it's absolutely not a cure for anyone's madness, but a hallucinogenic combination of narcotics. She then agrees to find out where the ingredients came from.

- Carrigan requests the key to Sebastian's room from Godaivah, and she and Dullahan turn into mice to watch him sleep. Dullahan agrees that he feels like Cinn, and Carrigan delivers him a cryptic nightmare. Dullahan is amused and impressed.

- Carrigan and Dullahan retire to their chambers. Carrigan forgets to shut down the mind-link from their escapades into Sebastian's rooms, and when he touches her, he sees the truth about why she killed Carradine. He understands that her confession of love much earlier wasn't simply a flippant thing, and he asks her to be 'his'. She agrees.

- She follows Aliamine to Landburn to 'watch over her'. They talk briefly at the other end, and then Carrigan watches her home.
